I like to read, play Texas Hold-Em and ride my bike (whose name is Ellie) and occasionally play pool. I seldom have to look for the "silver lining" because I usually see that first. I love the outdoors --the ocean, the trees, the sun, they all bring me joy. My charming husband of 30 years died 3 years ago. I've been going to movies and plays and lectures by myself and have been enjoying them, but I believe it would be more fun to share these experiences. Most important to me is a good social conscience. A positive attitude is a necessity and he'd NEED a good sense of humor. Mostly, I would like to spend time with someone who truly enjoys his life. I'm a very outgoing person and enjoy laughing. I'm extremely close to my two grown daughters, although one lives in a different state and one lives in a different country from me. I moved to Florida from the mid-west a couple of years ago and I'm in awe of the fantastic weather and people here. I truly enjoy reading — both people and books. Sarena West
