My vivacious side seeks the sea, the scouter of the deep, the climber of the mountains and the Amazon. The quiet side thrives in the sidewalk cafes of wine and conversation. My romantic side yearns for tender caresses and whispers of love.
I value loyalty, passion, a zest for life and one who knows and affirms our Creator as friend and Lord. I am content with little, but love life's challenges and at times, creating my own.
My heart has brought me to unexpected pleasures and places- from teaching in an inner-city school in DC, to San Antonio- the city I love, to most recently, my hometown, Walla Walla, WA. After thirty-some years and my father's passing, I am now "la patrona"of our family's salvage and recycling business. I never dreamed in a million years I would be here... but I am. Life has its quirks and surprises, and I am enjoying this one.
I am a farm girl at heart, but love the life of the city. I have lived and fled the Sandanista regime in Nicaragua... I have known fear and freedom.
I am young and old; an inventor and an improviser; wiser and humbler, a servant and a master. I would love a glass of wine, a conversation with a friend... hiking, skiing, a walk through the woods....I'm ready....are you?
