Well, it's frowned upon because one, it isn't the social norm, and two, the age difference does come with it's own intrinsic issues (no matter how much one would like to deny them), and having a relationship with someone your own age is hard enough.I think you should take a long hard look at WHY you prefer girls in their good gollyage/young adult years. It seems like there could be some issues there, whether you want to admit it or not.That said, I have many older friends that I connect with because of their maturity and ability to talk to me about things other than cool bands and celebrities. However, I would never date one of them because with the age differece I would feel like we would always be in different places in life.Hopefully now you can understand the concerns people may have.

LOL can you imagine the conversations he has with these young people? OK you asked a serious question... How to increase the number of women in that age group to date. Well the answer is simple, there aren't that many women in that age group that want to date a man that much older than them. It's now time to get over yourself and realize you aren't a young man anymore. Walk down the street and honestly look to see how many girls in your preferred age group take the time to give you a second glance. If you feel up to it though, you can find women in that age group that are trying to get out of bad relationships and be their sugar daddy till their hearts heal and they move on.
