for homework i have to make questions and answer them about this my questions are1. who were the two men running for presidency and wat were their ambitions2. why doesnt america and the UK help3. what evidence is there that the election was rigged4. why does the elected presedent stay in power when the people dont want himif you can answer any of these please do as i need it for tomorrow

As an Active Iranian person, in the last politic currents I do my best to answer:1. there were 4 persons, candidates: Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad(last president)Mr. Mir Hossein MoosaviMr. Mehdi KarrobiMr. Mohsen Rezaeibut the main compegollyion you asked was between the first tow person: Ahmadi Nezhad & Moosavi2. Because The Government And The leader called this help some kind of interference, I know that's not fair, but they are beginning to rule like dictators! & they broad casted this help in a bad mood to cheat iranians, but nobody believes their lies anymore3. Mr. Moosavi, one of the originatores of islamic republic and very intellectual in mind and rulement, has a website, www.ghalamnews.com I know you can't use it cuz it's a persian website, but in it he has explained many evidences:after election, the election organization didn't let his agent to be one of proctors in counting votes, wich is exactly the law.the result of the election has been distributed among people before the election end!( I'd heared the result from someone at 22:00, & the result became exactly the same!)and he has written a lot of more proofs...besides, we can see the green wave of mir hossein in iran that ahmadi could not be elected by these people!Mir Hossein is a cultural person, architecture, painter and university master, he has leaved policy for 19 years since the early year of islamis republic & now he came cuz he was needed much.4. People continue to their protest, but the government still annoys protesters and acts furious, they even put Mir Hossein under arrest to stop arousing people :( down with dictatores, many of Iranians in these seditions were killed by guards and basij( like Neda Agha Soltan)I hope we success in getting back our votes...if not satisfied contact me
